Carriage Paid To (CPT)

What do CPT terms mean?

Carriage Paid To (CPT) is used to identify a situation where goods are transported at the cost of the seller to a destination agreed upon with the buyer.

This cost of transportation for CPT is also factored into the negotiated price in order to create transparent pricing arrangements between the two parties.

CPT costs are often displayed by sellers who have an existing scaled logistics network in order to benefit the buyer and provide them with a greater level of service.
